As the organisers at Eastbourne Runs, we have been blessed with a wonderful team of volunteers. Without their help and support, events such as the Eastbourne 10k and Eastbourne Half Marathon simply could not take place. 

We are always looking for more high-vis heroes to join our friendly team, where your involvement can be tailored to meet your availability and wishes. 

Your role could involve being out and about on the course at a marshal location directing and encouraging runners. Or perhaps as a pacer to help someone achieve their time goals.
Or maybe at a water station handing out drinks to thirsty runners or race headquarters helping out with roles such as medal or freebie distribution, baggage, etc.

Full training and details of the role will be provided so you will feel comfortable and happy with your responsibilities on the day. 

If we can spare a race medal at the end of the event you are very welcome!
We will always try to reward you for giving up your time by offering an event tee shirt and breakfast (if the sponsorship and budgets allow)
